The Fine Art of Obsolescence is Tavius’s first book collaboration with Monica Martin, and by far his best work yet!  This book of photography captures the advancement of communication technology through the art of the street and the relics of Pay Phones.  The concept was to shoot fine art with a hand held phone of pay phones no longer in use and already character of San Francisco streets South of Market.  Monica shot high ASA black and white 35 millimeter film and the contrast is powerful!  Anyone into photography, conceptual or street art should love this documentary of technology and communication.
